Services for Interview Recording and TV Production
Not every project requires the same setup. A radio soundbite has different requirements than a corporate film with multiple speakers. This page organizes our services so you can quickly match your production to the appropriate setup. If you are unsure, a brief description of the project is enough, and we will suggest the right format for you.

How to find the right recording format
Four questionsA single voice or a conversation with a guest and interviewer? This determines how many channels we open and whether a director is listening in.
Audio only, camera included, or a complete set with a defined background? Lighting, distance, and seating arrangements are based on this.
Recording with subsequent selection or real-time, where the recording continues directly? Live requires more preparation than recording.
A single soundbite, a series of recurring episodes, or a project with multiple appointments? For multiple appointments, we keep the setup and sound consistent.
Interview recording with and without video
Core offering · one to two channels · with or without camera
The classic interview recording is our core offering. You sit with a guest in the recording room, the audio runs over one or two channels, and the director listens in. If video is included, we coordinate the camera and lighting with the seating arrangement so that faces and microphones are not in the way. You can use the setup for a journalistic interview or for a statement to be embedded in a feature.
Journalistic interview
Two speaker positions, on-site moderation, director listens in and marks usable passages.
Statement for a feature
Short, clean, broadcast-ready. One speaker, one channel, output in a format that your editing suite can adopt directly.
Voice recording and voice-over
Pure voice recording is the case where only the voice counts. Voice-over for explainer films, dubbing, commentary for a documentary, or re-voicing a feature. Here, we work with a controlled speaker position; reverberation is reduced and ventilation runs quietly. You can work with or without directorial guidance, depending on whether you are recording a text or need individual takes for later assembly.
- Voice-over for explainer films and corporate communication
- Dubbing and re-voicing of existing features
- Commentary for documentary and reportage
- Individual takes for later assembly, take by take
TV production and statements on camera
A statement for the news is short, but it has to be perfect. This production is about a clear background, a stable camera, and clean audio so that the feature passes through the broadcaster without discussion. For longer TV productions, we plan the setup and process in advance so that everyone involved knows who is standing where and when. If you want to work with multiple cameras, please mention this in your request.
Statement for news
One speaker, a defined background, one camera. The audio is designed for speech intelligibility so that the feature runs without further questions.
Short formatMulti-part TV production
Process, positions, and lighting are determined in advance so that everyone involved knows who is standing where and when. Multiple cameras are possible if you mention this in your request.
Advance planningDirection close to the set
The director listens in and can intervene if a sentence needs to be re-recorded. This saves a second trip and keeps the sound consistent across takes.
Real-timeLive video and hybrid production
Live video means that the recording happens in real-time, possibly for an audience or a conference. Here, preparation counts more than post-production: Who is connected, how does the audio return, what happens in case of a failure. For hybrid conferences, we plan the audio loops and the connection in advance so that a remote guest does not acoustically dominate the room. This is a different process than a pure recording.
Clarified before the broadcast
- Who is connected and via which path does the voice return to the room.
- How the audio loop runs so that a guest on the screen does not acoustically dominate the room.
- What happens if a connection drops, and who decides then.
Greenscreen and set constructions
If your feature needs a defined background, we build a greenscreen or a set of the appropriate size. This is suitable for explainer formats, corporate communication, and interviews where the background is part of the message. It is important that the setup is fixed before the shoot because lighting and distance depend on it. For very large setups, a soundstage might be the better choice.
Explainer formats
Spoken text against a calm background so that the message remains in the foreground and the editor has a free hand.
Corporate Communications
Statements and interviews for internal or external channels, with a background that suits the occasion.
Background as a statement
If the background is part of the message, we define the setup and distance before the shoot — the lighting depends on this.
Podcast and audio formats
Podcast recordings are handled like an interview recording, just longer. You can work with two or more speaker positions, depending on the format. If you want to add video to the format later, please let us know early, as camera placement and lighting require additional space. For recurring formats, we can plan a fixed setup that does not need to be rebuilt every time.
- Fixed setup for series
- For recurring episodes, we plan a setup that remains in place. This shortens the start of each episode and keeps the sound consistent throughout the season.
- Adding video
- If video is to be added later, please let us know early. Camera placement and lighting require additional space in the recording room.
Full production support
If you do not want to plan the technology or the process yourself, we will take care of the support from the inquiry to delivery. This includes setup, recording, a pre-selection of takes, and output in a format that your editing system can process. For projects with multiple dates, we maintain the common thread so that the recordings match each other.
- Inquiry You describe the project, and we suggest the setup, date, and process.
- Setup Microphones, seating arrangements, and, if necessary, camera and lighting are determined before the appointment.
- Recording The recording is running, the director listens in and marks takes that will help with editing.
- Output You receive selected takes in a format that your editing system processes directly.
Scope: what we do not provide
We are not a large film studio with stage sets or vehicle builds. For outdoor recordings, large scene sets, or elaborate stunt sets, a soundstage or another location is the right address. We are also not just a podcast café without direction. If your project absolutely requires a stage with a seating area, please mention this in your inquiry, and we will check if it is realistically feasible or if you are better off booking elsewhere.
No stage sets, no vehicle builds, no stunt sets — we lack the space and workshop for that.
No recording without supervision. Anyone who books with us gets a director included, even for small formats.

Frequently asked questions about our services
Can I record a soundbite without being there myself?
This is possible if the speaker or guest comes alone. For journalistic interviews, an interviewer usually makes sense because they lead the conversation. However, we can also take over the direction if a conversation guide is provided.
Do you also offer editing and post-production?
We deliver the takes in a format that your editing system can process. Full post-production is possible, but not automatically part of every booking. Please state in your inquiry whether you need editing or will do it yourself.
How many speakers can be recorded at the same time?
That depends on the format. Two speaker positions are standard; for more, we plan the setup in advance. For larger groups, you need more microphone channels and a different seating plan, which is why prior clarification is more important here than for a classic interview recording.
Next step: Describe your project
A short description is sufficient. Mention the format, number of speakers, desired date, and whether video is included. We will check which setup fits and get back to you with a proposal.
What we need for the assessment
- Format and length: individual soundbite, interview, or episode of a series.
- Number of speakers and whether a director or interviewer will be present.
- Whether video is included and if the background needs to be fixed.
- Desired date and whether you will handle the editing yourself or outsource it.
We will clarify everything else in a conversation. We treat the data from your inquiry in accordance with GDPR; details can be found in theprivacy policy.
